Beauty Is Illusion

Empowering beauty and its ultimate reality in  today's world!!!

Roses have thorns. Sometimes in the urge to pick that beautiful flower we forget the presence of thorns. And finally when we get pricked by them, our conscience shows up and we wake up from the lure; the lure of the pretty roses. And as their color fades away, petals falls off, they suddenly become ugly to us.Certainly, not as pleasing as it used to be. The reason I took the reference of roses is because they are sort of metaphor for the word 'beauty'. And I just wanted to draw a conclusion which is the main idea of this whole article i.e, 'BEAUTY IS ILLUSION'.

We human beings fall for attractive things in life, THOSE PRETTY SHOES, THAT BEAUTIFUL DRESS and sometimes humans too: THAT HANDSOME GUY, THAT CUTE GIRL ;)
We forget that there's much more than  to a person's appearance.. It not really our fault actually. Fault is in the environment around us and maybe in our eyes too. Yes, in our eyes. If you have ever noticed we go for things that look pretty and attractive. We tend to choose things that are better in appearance and may not be at all worth keeping from its INSIDE QUALITY. There has been moments when we have regretted buying some good looking objects that later proved to be a total waste of money. And there has also been other surprising moments where things we didn't have much expectations with, proved out to be a total LIFESAVER!! That goes for people too. Be it relationships or friendships, we want 'good-looking' people to be our company. And often been hurt or deceived by such 'good-looking' people at some points in our lives. This doesn't go for all of the people though. But half of them are for real 'illusionists'. Our eyes are hell of a judgemental thing. But what we see is not always the same in reality. We tend to choose appearances over REAL beauty that is intelligence, humor, creativity, talent, abilities and most importantly A GOOD HEART. These are real treasures and they last for a long long period of time. It is said, 'Never judge a book by its cover' and this proverb has a good message to all of us that the outer package cannot define the inner reality. Because what is OUTSIDE may not be the same INSIDE.

The most attractive people we know will get aged; as a matter of fact get wrinkles, loose their charm and become 'unattractive' with the passing time.  So beauty is somewhat illuminating. It just creates an illusion that you become curious for and finally leaves you disappointed when you find that the reality had nothing to do with what it looked like at the beginning. Yes, beauty is alluring but can be very deceiving...It looks promising but may not always be as per your expectations. Sometimes the dumbest looking thing can be a genius, the weakest looking thing a hero and the ugliest looking thing a Tom Cruise! (wink wink *_^)

Don't let your eyes fool around again and choose things with a better view...Rather go for things  that's going to stay for a lifetime. Go for reality than virtuosity. Wrapping this up i would like to add a favorite quote of mine at the end: “Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.” ― Mark Twain

Being An Introvert!!

I felt the requirement to write few things about "Introverts" and the way they are, sometimes misunderstood..

I sometimes felt like a duff.  Yes i did.  Its not easy being a type of person who finds it difficult to go ahead and speak your mind and heart out. Trust me it isn't. Its just like trying  to speak Chinese. Its a social world; mixing up, communicating with each other has been an integral part of "socialization". and if you fail to do so, you got to welcome criticisms to your so called "uncivilized behaviour".
Now talking about "introverts" they are normal people with a less social nature. They are like every other person but rather find it difficult to interact to people on a daily basis. they just like keeping things inside not because they have a high opinion of themselves but for the reason that its just so hard to express the things going inside them. As a matter of fact, they have less friends, spend most of their times within themselves and they share their views, thoughts with few people. people they are close enough to.
Is it wrong to be an introvert?  Well the answer is NO. Being an introvert is a nature of any normal person, there's nothing wrong in it. Its who we are. We're born this way. Introverts are often called names as 'aloof', 'vain', 'loner'. yes its not easy hearing all those, of course. but we can't permanently fit ear-plugs into our ears, can we?  I feel that's the reason why god made two ears, keeping this thing in mind.
The people just opposite to us are the outgoing, interactive and the social types, in a word; the Extroverts. they're easily likable and know how to perfectly fit into the social scenario. We lack that art of impressing people through communicative skills. And so people might get a wrong message and might develop a different perception towards us that may not be very pleasing.
Its not that we introverts don't like talking to people, we want to, but something just holds us back from letting all out so we keep them in; waiting for a safer person, to land all of our emotions on. Introverts don't talk for the sake of talking, we talk if something seems interesting. We cant randomize any topic and go on and on. There has to be something more precise, something more specific.
I hate trying to be something i am not. I am not an extrovert and i can never be. I can't go to a party and start being every one's favorite out there rather i prefer to have fun with only those people I feel comfortable with and have the best time. This doesn't mean i am criticizing extroverts; No i am not! Honestly, I love their way of presenting themselves to people and i have always been envious of that quality. but the real me will always be the same. and i don't see anything wrong there because i was given that quality. its within me. i sometimes wished to vacuum it and fill myself with 'extrovertedness',  but that's of course not possible so i had to deal with it and let people have their opinions and judgements shower.  you don't have a choice because you can't go head over heels trying to be "a social animal" all of a sudden.
We introverts spend most of our times alone so, yes we have a lot in our minds waiting to 'volcanize'. We introverts are imaginative, creative and it is seen that introverts are comparatively successful in academics too than the extros. we introverts are dreamers, we love dreaming. we spend most of our times at la la land! that's a reason why world's famous writers are often introverts.  I have dozen of examples of introvert  people who are now an example of great achievers. Some of them would be: Bill Gates, Eleanor Roosevelt, J.K Rowling, Emma Watson and the list goes on. Certainly, these people need no introduction their name says it all. when i researched this to give myself a boost, i was thrilled, I was so glad that god made me an introvert .The names out here makes me so proud of being what I am.
I once had a wrong belief regarding this' introvertism' . I guess it was because of the atmospheric flow and I know that there are such people who are victims of the pressure from the social environment.  but as time passed, i am convinced enough to convince other sufferers that there's nothing to worry about if you are an introvert. you are a normal human being and you have to learn to trust and love yourself  that's the only way people will reciprocate the same to you. i don't expect the society to change; that would now be a cliche, I guess.  But the people who have been going with a wrong society-influenced flow and trying to be what they are not and can never ever be, i feel, a change can me made right there. Always be confident in what you are because you are unique. There's only one like you and the world needs more YOUs. no matter you are an introvert or an extrovert you are way better than you think. That thought, begins from you yourself.
So, next time when someone tries you to intimidate you for being a less-social character and asks for a change in you for the sake of  'socialization',  go ahead and proudly say that you are an introvert and you're completely happy being one.
